What is “St. Andrew”?

We are a congregation that began worshiping in October 1957.  We are affiliated with the denomination know as the “Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod” (www.lcms.org).  This website will provide a great deal of information on who we are as “Lutherans.”

Why the name “St. Andrew”?

St. Andrew was one of the original twelve disciples to follow Jesus during his earthly ministry (Matthew 4:18; 10:2; Mark 1:29; John 1:40-42; 6:8-9; 12:22).  It is common for many churches, including Lutheran churches, to be named after one of the  disciples/apostles.

Who is the Pastor of St. Andrew?

Two pastors serve St. Andrew.  Pastor Paul Short is the Senior Pastor and Pastor Mark Martin is the Associate Pastor.  You may find more detailed information under our website heading “Who Leads St. Andrew?”

When are the Worship Services conducted?

As posted throughout the website, every Sunday we have Traditional Worship at 8:00 and 10:35 a.m. and Contemporary Worship at 9:15 a.m.  All services are conducted in the Worship Center.
